VOICE NET

The CME Voice Net System is based on interactive voice response/web technologies that have been developed specifically for the marketing research industry.

The primary benefits of the CME Voice Net System are:

•    Cost savings vs. conventional telephone interviewing.

•    Accuracy in terms of automatically storing/recording respondents’ opinions.

•    Quick response/feedback of data collected due to automation.

•    Short lead times to develop/launch projects.

The bottom line… reliable cost effective research on a timely basis.

The CME Voice Net System has inbound as well as outbound capabilities for data collection.

CME Voice Net can save time and money for the following research applications:

•    General phone surveys.

•    Diary panel data collection/home use tests.

•    Customer satisfaction surveys.

•    Employee satisfaction surveys.

•    Customer family opinion research.

•    Focus group recruiting.

•    Pre-recruiting/central location studies.

•    Panel data base management.

•    Client in-house product testing.

All of these activities can be “managed” with CME Voice Net at lower costs than traditional data collection methods without sacrificing data quality.

The CME Voice Net System (for interactive voice response) is a high tech system that uses a digitized human voice for transmitting messages/text and a touch tone pad and or the respondents voice for capturing responses.

Interviewer variation and bias are eliminated since every respondent hears exactly the same “human voice” message.  Open end responses are captured in the respondents’ actual voice with individual tone and inflection stored for later review.  Experience suggests that most respondents are more “open” and candid with their opinions with this method of data collection.

Respondents can determine whether they prefer the interview to be conducted live “in-person” on a one-to-one basis with an interviewer or with the Voice Net System making use of the interactive voice response technology.

The CME Voice Net System (for interactive voice response) works best with a research instrument that takes no longer than approximately 10-minutes to complete.

The CME Voice Net System can provide the following benefits:

•    Reduced project set up time than for traditional telephone research.

•    Complex questionnaires (including skip logic/rotation/ randomization) can be programmed, recorded, and running within hours as opposed to several days.

•    Interviewer training on how to conduct the study is virtually eliminated due to the interactive voice response automated data collection process.

•    Data can be collected continuously throughout a 24-hour day at the discretion of the respondent based on his/her availability.

•    An interviewer can interact with a respondent or a respondent can be transferred to an interviewer if required or preferred.

Several of our clients like the CME Voice Net IVR technology for the following reasons:

•    The ability to reach hard to find respondents.

•    Consistency of interviews, eliminating interviewer error.

•    Response rates that are good or better than conventional telephone, mail or personal interviewing.

•    Respondents that are typically more motivated to participate and give more thoughtful and considered responses.

•    Actual “live” respondent verbatim comments that can be easily captured.

•    Results that are available more quickly by collecting responses via computer, greatly reducing data processing time and cost.

This automated interviewing system has been successfully employed in industries such as; package delivery, fast foods, healthcare, packaged goods, automotive, etc.

In all cases, clients make use of customized approaches that work best for their specific needs.

From a technical perspective, the CME-IVR system has the following features:

•    Automated Attendant - Flexible voice menu system for greetings, transfers, etc.

•    Voice Message Storage and Forwarding.

•    Multiple Language Support - System can support voice prompts in up to nine languages.

•    WINDOWS NT based software.

•    Interfaces with a wide variety of telephone systems or can work directly off telco lines.

•    Easily configured using a pull down menu driven forms based graphical user interface without writing any script or batch files.

•    Easily expandable to larger port sizes.

•    Remote configuration and diagnostics.

These features permit the customization of your project.
